Wizards fan here.
I was walking home from picking up food on my lunch break with a Wizards hat on. A complete stranger just ran me down on the sidewalk and was like "look at this!" And held up his phone. I was like oh shit I'm either going to hear a fake sob story about why he needs cash or I'm about to get shanked.
I looked at his phone and it was the Shams tweet that Dybantsa would make his debut today.

Pelicans player here.
I was walking home from picking up food for my first lunch with a Red Lobster bib on. A complete stranger just ran me down on the sidewalk and was like "look at this!" And held up his phone. I was like oh shit I'm either going to hear a fake sob story about why he needs cash or I'm about to get shanked.
I looked at his phone and it was the Shams tweet that a new Golden Corral would make its debut today.

Raptors fan here.
I was walking home from grabbing food on my lunch break, Raptors hat on, minding my business on the road. Some mans I've never seen in my life just runs me down on the sidewalk like "YO LOOK AT THIS!!" and holds up his phone. I'm thinking nah, either this wasteman is about to give me some sob story about needing bare cash for the TTC or I'm about to get licked, I swear down.
I look at his phone and it's the Shams tweet saying Kawhi Leonard is back from his injury TODAY. Mans said "dun know" and walked off. I'm still gassed. Honestly, a stranger running me down to share that? That's the 6ix for you.

Lol it's not. I live in DC and been here 10+ years and constantly wear one of the million wizards hats I own.
I've had more strangers chat me up about the Wizards in the past 3 months then the entire time before that combined.

God bless you Will Dawkins, I love you. From the very bottom of my heart. I'm crying now and man enough to admit it. I love you, God bless you and your family. Thank you for everything.
