Miami have the body language of a team going through a mid season slump except it's been only three games

Miami is the ideal retirement home for NBA players looking to chill out🥰
They just going to chill all season long no worry

So that’s what “heat culture” is

I hated the decision to put it on a jersey with the quote on the floor. I think they completely jumped the shark

yeah, that's exactly the sort of thing you let other people say about you but never actually state yourself.
Honestly, the Heat culture is just stale at this point. The same power structure has been in charge for untold eons now, and they're being led by an 81 year old who's never going to relinquish power because this is all he has. There's a point where continuity becomes complacency, and there has to be some kind of shakeup, and it should probably be having the now-decrepit franchise president step aside.

it's like how barcelona started leaning heavily into 'barca dna' branding right around the time they were the furthest away from their core principles (the coutinho / dembele era)

Heat culture = talking about how special heat culture is

I thought it was a yogurt recipe

The Heat are going to "chill around" and find themselves as the 7th seed.

Word for word what was said when Jimmy got here. The jokes repeat themselves.

That's the worst indicator so far. Before the 4th quarter of this game the team looked so mentally broken, only 3 games in. Maybe almost coming back in the 4th this game sparked something but we'll have to wait and see.
Right now we look just completely broken.

Giannis had the worst +/- at -20 (score difference at end was 5) and just looked hellishly frustrated before the first half even ended. I don't see things ending well for this team at all. Mitchell practically carried that fourth quarter effort.

In the first half Giannis saw no one else could do anything so he tried to do it all himself, he was missing shit left and right but he was aggressive. Davion, Pelle and Portis clicked and got us back into the game, Bam took a backseat when that was happening.

Honestly it's probably fine you'll get this out of the way early and find a groove mid season
Better to look like this after 3 games than 60 games

We need more offense, especially guys that can create their own shot. Maybe Lavine gets bought out and we sign him but we have so much money locked up in just Bam and Giannis.

The problem is that Giannis needs certain players around him. Otherwise he is an effective player but he doesn't raise the floor enough unless you have the right complimentary players around him.

Bam and Giannis together seem like a really redundant fit

It's the body language of a team realizing we traded for a superstar and now we have no depth no shooting and the other teams are all better than us...

For reference the heat were 9-8 when Lebron shoulder bumped Spoelstra

Aging Giannis and Bam are NOT prime LeBron and near-prime Wade.
Giannis is not a very adaptable or high IQ player by all-star standards, and Bam is an extremely tentative offensive player. And they're very redundant together, and both need to be surrounded by shooters that Miami doesn't have.
