The Bucks got cap space, just saying

He left Milwaukee to play with Heat roster that’s now on the Bucks.

If you think about it, Miami mainly misses a high-scoring PG whose also a serviceable passer and play-setter.
They're basically missing Tyler Herro.

It’s wild because people keep screaming that the Celtics should have beat the Heat offer…

Giannis isn't the problem, the roster management is (so I suppose the trade is a part of that, in fairness).
It's so horrible, like a kid playing dolls instead of a GM building a squad than can actually compete.

Nobody thinks Gianni’s is the issue. He’s putting up big numbers and playing well. Unfortunately it’s a team sport

He’s part of the problem just by being there. This roster is dookie. They got worse by adding him

he fouled out with 14 points last night, he definitely wasn't doing those things you suggested.

And Giannis would be a way better fit with Tatum then he is with Bam.

I also don’t know why, but Bam seems to be super overrated by other players. I think it’s because his 1 on 1 game is (supposedly) nasty, but he’s treated by his colleagues as if he’s of the ilk of Kobe and KD even though he averages 16ppg for his career.
Is Bam very good? Yes. Is he how good people say he is? I don’t think so.

Wilt, BAM, Kobe. In that order.

True. But bam scoring 83 out of nowhere is like malachi flynn or jennings scoring 50 out of nowhere

I mean, they could’ve, and still have assembled a very good roster.
They’d be missing Hugo Gonzalez(a project), Scheierman(a decent bench piece), and possibly Robinson(I can’t recall what their cap situation would be if they got Giannis) but otherwise would’ve still had Pritchard, Walsh, Hauser, White, Queta, Garza as rotation players, assuming they didn’t pursue free agency any differently.
If you wanna debate if the Celtics should’ve offered that, sure, but the situations don’t seem comparable when you put the offers side by side.

And rather than having two additional good picks, we’d be out four firsts. The difference of 6 first round picks, all to get a guy that is great, but I’m not sure makes his teammates better anymore and can’t be counted on to play a full season.

A Giannis move also isn't totally compatible with the Celtics cap situation, since trading all your picks and prospects for (and extending) 32 year old Giannis is the move you make if you're going for it right the fuck now. For the Celtics this is year two of resetting the tax, we can't go second apron again until 28-29 (well we can but it would effectively cost us a first), and lighting the future on fire for today isn't how the Celtics have operated since the KG/Ray Allen summer (both of whom combined came cheaper than Giannis would have) when they were at risk of losing Pierce and didn't have much of a future with that group anyway.
Don't tell any of this to the ragepigs and private equity schizos though.

Dame would be a good fit!

He can pull a Dame and get injured and waived 🤔

We call that the Carmelo special

He Carmelo Anthony’d himself by forcing a trade and not waiting for free agency
