man and people thought KCP is washed. such a great pickup for sixers

Him, Simons and Dean Wade coming of the bench. Sixers are legit.

And don’t sleep on Barlow who was passable as a starter last year. He’s really a 4, but he actually had some good flashes as a smallball 5 in the playoffs when they bothered to try it

Agree, he is super versatile and just a good hustle guy. Much better ball skills than Bona.

Specifically HANDS myyy goodness Bona

7. u/LePhillyPhilly_23 · 2026-10-25 15:58 UTC

Yup I love Bonas heart and hustle but my man really has hands like feet. Bona block parties are great tho, he’ll be a solid energy guy in really small minutes

I’d say bricks, helps explains both blocks and fouls

yes absolutely love the energy. Miss Bball Paul thooo

I’m high on Philon too

10. u/eng2ny · 2026-10-25 14:57 UTC

He looked a little rough last night but it's too be expected for his first NBA game. I think by the end of the season he's firmly in the rotation.

11. u/indoninjah · 2026-10-25 15:31 UTC

Tbh he might be a longer term piece and that's okay. He brings something genuinely unique to the guard rotation that complements Maxey/VJ

12. u/vesthis16 · 2026-10-25 16:45 UTC

he'll be traded. this team doesn't have time to wait.

13. u/indoninjah · 2026-10-25 16:48 UTC

It's possible. Getting Simons proved that it's not that hard to find guard depth, and Philon has no real path to starting in the next 5 years

I fuckin love Barlow. Swiss Army knife and gets into all aspects of the game

15. u/ShoyuPorkRamen · 2026-10-25 13:55 UTC

if they can get solid backup center. its really scary

16. u/ExcalipoorGilgamesh · 2026-10-25 13:56 UTC

They did get one, but he got injured.

17. u/ShoyuPorkRamen · 2026-10-25 13:57 UTC

yeah and bona looks like he has grease in his hand all the time

18. u/LeBronMania · 2026-10-25 14:27 UTC

The previous point remains

Dudes getting a good amount of wide open 3’s and to his credit knocking them down pretty consistently and in big spots

Good ball movement always fun to watch.
