I would have made fun of this but I’ve just started experiencing sciatica and it fucking sucks.

I have had it everywhere from my glute down into my foot. It’s a devastating thing. 3 years off and on.

Stretch often, and do your physical therapy work regularly

Trust me. I’ve had an injection, two MRIs, two rounds of physical therapy and do dead bugs, planks and glute bridges almost everyday. The back just has a mind of its own lol.

That's one of my worst fears, I don't ever want to have chronic back pain. I'm in my thirties now and luckily, I haven't had anything really bad yet, I am not fit but I have been very active and have started weight training, with a controlled macro counted diet.

Mine hit at 38. I’d just suggest making sure you have a strong core especially if you’re an active person. I was and still am pretty active but didn’t focus on core and strength training. Went from daily running for a decade to not being able to walk more than 10 minutes at a time in the span of a week lol. Out of nowhere.

I had pretty bad lbp and sciatica for a while, this video really helped me move past it and I still work it in to my routine once or twice a week (in addition to endless nerve glides, dead bugs, bird dogs etc.) https://youtu.be/4BOTvaRaDjI?is=xvLdcTZI-u1F6Hcj

Oh yea, I had 3 injections in a year. Cat cow yoga moves is my best friend, but everyone's back problems are a little different. Keep going, it gets better the more you work at it. I'm still learning new exercises and stretches all the time
