sincerely one of the best blocks I’ve ever seen

Wemby is having a really bad week

he needs to stop playing like a fucking guard

He has Tim there with one phone call. He has the resources to learn from one of the greatest big men ever and he's tryna play like a shooting guard. Someone has to knock some sense into him.

How hard is it to learn a fucking hook shot? It's not nuclear physics. Instead he crouched and brings the ball low like he's trying to put it in his uterus. Play big.

Mobley is also a chronic avoider of a hook shot. Loves to put the ball on the floor and it drives me biserk

Well the Thunder and the Rockets have been doing some knocking.

KG said on a podcast he heard that Wemby and Timmy don't mesh with each other, that's why he goes to Hakeem, KG and others for mindset stuff. I've been thinking that Wemby just doesn't see Timmy as a skilled player or something.
I'm starting to think its true, but Wemby would need to be the one that reaches out to him, Timmy has no onus to give any more to the franchise or anyone else for that matter than what he already has done.

Tim Duncan has always been underrated, even during his peak while he was playing (and you should know how much it pains me to say this as a Suns fan, but the truth is the truth, I ain't going lie).
From what I'm noticing, I fear this is only getting worse with the newer generation as we get further away from his playing time. One "knock" against Duncan is that he doesn't really have a playstyle that lends itself to spectacular mixtapes (unless you're a basketball sicko who likes watching fundamental and defensive play) which means he gets no traction in today's Tiktok world.

Top 10 player of all time. I can't take any list without him in it seriously

It’s the reason he’s the big fundamental. Just bare basic basketball. Nothing flashy and that’s exactly what Wemby needs to learn

That's crazy to be that way with the franchise GOAT.

At the end of the day we just have to accept that he is French.. There's really nothing else we can do.. :/
lol.

Wemby just seems like more vocal and embraces the spotlight more than Timmy, who is very chill and laid back. It makes sense their personalities don't mesh. Timmy also played more like a traditional big man without all the dribble moves that Hakeem used so I doubt Wemby doesn't see Timmy as skilled, but more of their style aren't the same.

The fact is that a lot of big man duties are blue collar work by NBA standards, and effective big man offense is often unglamorous. I hope he learns that some of the simple things like keeping the ball high will be nearly unstoppable once he fully implements them

And what about David Robinson?

Wemby and Timmy don't mesh with each other
Probably wanted to play Civ instead of StarCraft.

Timmy not skilled? That’s the biggest delusion I ever heard from a professional. Timmy is just not flashy.
