Yaxel on Luka: "People saying I'm not supposed to talk. I ain't never been no hoe, like come on now. He's gonna say what he wanna say I'm gonna say what I wanna say. I'm not afraid to talk to nobody. He's not Michael Jordan. I feel like I did take it overboard with the media but it is what it is."

Why does reddit want me to be upset about this?
2. u/enigmatic_dankness · 2026-10-24 14:20 UTC
Because this entire site is just a giant complaint box where everyone endlessly bitches and whines over every little thing that ever happens

people dont want to admit it but this is real housewives for heteronormative men.

I swear it used to not be like this. It used to be a heteronormative complaint box for computer nerds.

You also used to see quality responses voted to the top of threads. I used to learn new things on Reddit, and more often than not, it was in the comments. Top posts are now just clickbait, and top comments are now just the first person to type out a well known meme joke.

The lame jokes get voted to the top every time. No one wants to talk. It’s just a battle for the mighty upvote

Much like the NBA, the Reddit you grew up with is dead. The youths have taken it over, it’s unrecognizable. And in the NBA the game has changed so much it’s unrecognizable. Oh well.

Be the change you want to see and downvote lame comments. Even if they’re the top.

14. u/MorPhreeUs · 2026-10-24 15:57 UTC
And now I'm here to bitch about your bitching and whining about all the bitching and whining going on around here.

He is literally highlighting what people have complained about for years and now people are mad that he is doing that, like what?

It’s not all of Reddit. This subreddit in particular thrives on this petty drama
17. u/BigOlPass · 2026-10-24 14:23 UTC
Ironic

Sadly. So many fans are more interested in narratives than basketball. And the NBA does the narrative piece better than any other sport.

Is there a better source for news / discussions ?
Genuine question. If so I’d delete my Reddit app right now

What I’d give to have old school forums back.
