Let me take a stab at it

Playoff game winning buzzer beater against Toronto 3 years ago may crack the list as well

Also when he pretended he was an airplane.

Does Joel know what happened with Tower 7?

O_O

I mean, there’s been a couple 9/11s since 2019 I guess but they’ve been less notable

That game was so forgotten I even forgot about that play until seeing it a few months ago

That was in Toronto. The silence in the arena was deafening.

I'd like to submit Jan 12, 2017 TJ McConnell game winner in consideration. My favorite process era win

Man that was a sick one

One game that always sticks out for me was when he went for 46 points, 15 boards, 7 assists and 7 blocks with just 2 turnovers in 34 minutes at the Lakers in 2017. Shot 14-20 from the field, 2-3 from three, 16-19 from the line. Just an utterly insane performance

That was definitely his “I’ve arrived” game

For sure. He was the first NBAer to go for 40, 7 and 7 since Dr. J did it in 1982.
Simmons was also a board shy of a triple-double that night

This is actually a solid list homie 🫡

There was a playoff game when he hit a buzzer 3 iirc. I watched it at work and was losing my mind.

Game 7 against Boston has to be up there. Also awesome in hindsight, as losing that game probably means none of the offseason moves end up happening. If Boston gets through that series it’s a lot harder to imagine the same urgency around trading JB, and no JB almost definitely means no Lebron

the 3-1 comeback wasn’t in philly tho
20. u/_Juntao · 2026-10-23 18:40 UTC
Yeah that's where it's up for interpretation I guess. In philly as in physically in philadelphia, or in philly as in just as a sixer in general
Either way it's just a little stupid list i came up with i didn't look too far into it
