He could've been Dalton Kingecht but he made the wrong choice!

I think he’ll be all right

Yeah he will probably be really good at clapping when Kat or Brunson make a bucket. Passing the Gatorade out is also a really useful skill

Didn’t know a loose seal ate Dalton Knect’s left hand!

Lucille the loose seal

It'd be horrible for his development if you don't allow him to go left too.

This is good, solid work here.

Can't even use 4 or 44 on the knicks. He might have to switch it up.

Knickt (in) 4

God's plan.

Yeah if I were fighting for my NBA career after faltering in the LA spotlight the last place I’d wanna go is the other biggest market lol, but obviously we don’t really know what his options were.

You would think the best move would be to go to a rebuilding team and go kill over there.

The trade-off being that if you don’t play well at a bottom feeder team that’s probably your last chance in the league

18. u/randotd152 · 2026-10-23 16:52 UTC

This is his last chance regardless. Dude was an old draft pick. He turns 26 this season.

The entire lottery appeal on him was he was an NBA ready high floor but low ceiling kind of guy. Guess teams knew what they were doing when he slid down the draft.

It's probably harder for him to excel on a rebuilding team compared to playing on a team with a more established offense/identity so his coach knows where to put him. He's basically just a spot-up shooter. If he joins a team without a good point guard, that would make him look worse.

I mean it’s also possible this was just the offer he got. Dalton Knecht isn’t exactly a player teams are amped to have on their team.
