He’s like Jerry Rice, his career could legit be 2 or 3 separate Hall of Fame careers

Each of his long term stints is HoF worthy + his international career

Literally could cut his achievements in half, 21k points, 6k rebounds, 6k assists, 2X MVP, 2X champ, 10X all star (I’m not looking this up so someone correct me) and 9X all NBA. Thats still a first ballot hall of famer

No other player has 21k points, 6k rebounds, 6k assists, 2X MVP, 2X champ
_ Curry is off by 1000 rebounds

Jokic has the assists and rebounds, and will get to the points probably middle of next season. But I dont think hes getting the 2nd chip unless something weird happens.

Trade him for Embiid

curse of the bambino aint shit to the curse of the joker

Jokic is damn close to that mark, but getting another ring will be the hard part.
He currently has 18k points, 9k rebounds, 6k assists, 3x MVP, 1x champ

Technically would be another 3 rings in this “cut in half” hypothetical no?
10. u/saints21 · 2026-10-22 15:43 UTC
Since LeBron doesn't have 8 rings, no. Why would Jokic need to get 3 more rings?

I can’t do basic math or comprehend English right now. You are right.

It happens. My brain broke on my first call with a client this morning and I forgot the word "liability".
Since I work in commercial insurance I use or see the word a couple hundred times a day, just to make it even worse.

That is insane, cutting his accomplishments in half and still nobody can match it.

11x all-nba and 3 defensive team selections lol half his career is fringe top 10 worthy in the history of the sport

I think there’s an argument that his time in LA, Miami, and Cleveland would be 3 separate HOF level careers if you split them apart. Miami career was a bit short but damn was it good.

Even if you don't look at his averages or counting stats from Miami he has the accolades for the HOF.
2x MVP
4x All-Star
4x All-NBA (all first team)
4x All-Defense (3 first, 1 second)
2x NBA champion
2x NBA Finals MVP
4x Conference Champion
4x top 10 in DPOY voting
4x top 3 in MVP voting
I don't care what your overall career numbers are. Those accolades get you in pretty easily. People seem pretty gungho about throwing Rose in and he "only" has an MVP, 3 All-Star nods, and 1 All-NBA.

The 2011 MVP was based on agenda rather than play as well. LeBron was considerably better than Rose.
18. u/Jamarcus316 · 2026-10-22 15:40 UTC
LeBron suffered a lot from voter fatigue and similar factors.
If he had like 10 MVPs it probably wouldn't be unfair.
19. u/Kiriegloom · 2026-10-22 15:03 UTC
Rose has a very good case to not make the hall. The only thing is he has the MVP and that's it. Nothing else about his career screams HOF
20. u/imblo · 2026-10-22 15:17 UTC
The only thing is he has the MVP and that's it.
That said, every single league MVP who was HoF-eligible, is in the HoF.
